Jan Hagels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Brown Sugar, packed
    1 c. Margarine, softened
    1 Egg Yolk
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    2 c. All Purpose Flour
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    1 Egg White, lightly beaten
    1/4 c. Sugar
    1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
    1/2 c. Sliced Almonds
Preparation
    Cream brown sugar and margarine until fluffy.
    Blend in salt and flour, after blending in egg yolk and vanilla.
    Pat dough into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 pan.
    Brush top with egg white.
    Sprinkle combined sugar and cinnamon on top of egg white.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake for 15 min. at 350 degrees.
    Cut into 1 1/2 in. squares.
