Pepper Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded fine
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar or more to taste
    1/2 tsp. salt or more to taste
    2 medium green peppers, diced fine
    1 medium red pepper, diced fine
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, water, sugar and salt.
    Add to shredded cabbage the diced peppers and celery seed.
    Toss to mix thoroughly, then add vinegar mixture and let stand in a cold place several hours.
