Upside-Down Caramel Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
    1/2 c. pecan halves
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 pkg. pie crust mix
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 c. pared, sliced tart cooking apples (I like Granny Smith)
    margarine or butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Line pie plate, 9 x 1 1/4-inch, with a 14-inch circle of foil.
    Spread 2 tablespoons margarine over foil. Press pecan halves, rounded sides down, on foil; sprinkle with brown sugar.
