Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
cooking oil
1 c. diced onions
1 c. diced potatoes
1 c. diced carrots
1 c. diced celery
4 c. cooked tomatoes
1 small can corn
1/4 c. uncooked rice
3 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Lightly brown ground beef in a small amount of oil; drain off excess fat.
Combine all ingredients in large kettle.
Simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
