Broccoli-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli or fresh, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper
2 c. milk
5 oz. American cheese, shredded (about 1 1/2 c.)
Preparation

In a saucepan, dissolve bouillon cubes in water.
Add broccoli and cook until tender.
Do not drain.
In another large saucepan, melt the butter and cook the onion until tender.
Stir in flour and blend well.
Add milk.
Stir until thickened.
Add cheese. Stir until melted.
Add the broccoli and liquid.
Combine.
Heat, but do not boil.
Serves 3 or 4.
