Almond Biscotti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. each: cinnamon and baking powder
    1/2 tsp. powdered cloves
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. blanched almonds (whole or slightly crushed)
    1 extra egg yolk, mixed with a little water
Preparation
    Mix the first 8 ingredients in large mixing bowl, then add flour and almonds until well blended.
    Separate dough into 3 parts; roll each into a \"rope.\"
    Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly.
    Brush with egg and water mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes, until center is slightly firm.
    Cool slightly. Slice diagonally with sharp knife.
    Recipe can be doubled.
