Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick oleo or butter or 1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix oats and boiling water and set aside.
    Cream together next four ingredients and beat well, then add dry ingredients.
    Bake in greased and floured pan for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    When done, pour cake topping on and put under broiler until coconut browns.
