Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. oatmeal
3 c. boiling water
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
4 tsp. salt
2 cakes yeast or 2 Tbsp. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation

Put together yeast and 1 1/2 cups warm water.
Let rise, then add to other mixture as soon as the other mixture is lukewarm. Then use bread flour (I use Action) to thicken.
Let rise like other bread.
