Granny'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix applesauce and soda; add shortening and sugar.
Blend in eggs.
Mix in flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Bake in oven (350\u00b0) for 45 minutes or until well done.
