Supper Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope instant mashed potatoes
    1 envelope mushroom gravy mix
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. mixed vegetables, thawed but not cooked
    oil or melted butter
    paprika
Preparation
    Prepare mashed potatoes and gravy mix according to package directions. Spread potatoes in well-greased 9-inch pie plate, covering bottom and sides to make a shell.
    Mix ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, vegetables and 1/4 cup gravy.
    Mix well.
    Spoon carefully into potato shell, patting with back of spoon to level off evenly. Brush edges of potato crust lightly with oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with remaining gravy.
