Better Than Sex Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1 large box vanilla instant pudding
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 c. milk
    16 or 18 oz. can crushed pineapple
    8 oz. carton sour cream
    12 oz. carton Cool Whip
    1 small can coconut
    cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed in a 16 x 11 x 2-inch pan. Add sugar to pineapple and bring to a boil.
    Pour over cake while hot, then cool. Add 3 cups cold milk to pudding mix and beat until thick. Pour over pineapple mixture.
    Mix Cool Whip and sour cream; spread over pudding.
    Sprinkle nuts over pudding, then coconut.
    You may add cherries on top, if desired.
    Refrigerate overnight.
