Squash Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. grated squash
    6 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    finely chopped onion to taste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Spoon tablespoon size dollop into hot oil and gently flatten to about 1/4-inch thick.
    Cook about 3 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
