English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. almonds
3 Hershey bars (1.45 oz.)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Cook butter and sugar over medium-high heat until color of brown paper bag, 7 minutes or more.
Never remove when yellow and never leave unattended.
Stir in almonds.
Pour into 9 x 9-inch pan.
Pour melted Hershey bars over top and sprinkle nuts over Hershey bars.
Cool and break into chunks.
Put into refrigerator to cool.
