Tamale Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 can tamales
    1 c. American cheese
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 c. crushed crackers
    1 Tbsp. chili powder or to taste
Preparation
    Remove\tshucks\tfrom the tamales and reserve the liquid (3/4 cup).
    Mix\tcream-style
    corn and mashed tamales.
    Grate the cheese
    and
    add
    to
    corn and tamales.
    Add milk and egg. Add tomato liquid and chili powder.
    Sprinkle crushed crackers on top and
    dot
    with
    butter.
    May
    serve as a meat.
    Can be prepared a day
    ahead.
    Let
    stand a little when removed from oven before serving.
