Orzo With Lemon And Herb - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. vegetable stock
2 c. medium orzo (rice shaped pasta)
3/4 c. chopped fresh herbs (parsley, basil or tarragon)
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
ground black pepper to taste
salt to taste
Preparation

Bring vegetable stock to a boil in a large saucepan.
Add orzo and cook for about 8 minutes until just tender.
Drain and toss with herbs and lemon juice.
Season with pepper and salt.
Serve hot, room temperature or chilled.
Can be made up to 6 hours in advance.
Serves 4 to 6.
