Cherry Tarte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can (2 1/2 c.) sour pie cherries
    1 (32 oz.) (2 1/2 c.) pineapple
    1/3 c. Minute tapioca
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Drain cherries.
    Combine 2/3 cup cherry juice with pineapple, tapioca and sugar.
    Bring to a boil and cook until tapioca is clear.
    Add cherries.
    Remove from heat.
