Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 large box jello, any flavor (I like apricot)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Pour pineapple with juice in boiler along with jello.
    Mix well.
    Bring mixture to a bubbling boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; pour into serving container and refrigerate until it starts to thicken.
    Then stir in buttermilk and Cool Whip.
    Return to refrigerator until set.
