Hot Cheesy Seafood Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. process cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/8 tsp. hot sauce
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can small shrimp, drained, rinsed and chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
    chopped green onions with tops (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring frequently, until cheese melts. Stir in next 3 ingredients. Transfer mixture to a chafing dish; sprinkle with onions, if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips or Fritos. Makes 4 cups. Can freeze. Can do ahead.
