Praline Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 (16 oz.) pkg. dark brown sugar
5 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
3/4 c. milk
2 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, baking powder and soda.
Add to cream mixture, alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Dredge pecans in remaining 1/2 cup flour.
Stir pecans and vanilla into batter
Pour into 2 greased and floured 10-inch tube pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes.
