Fruit And Nut Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Brer Rabbit molasses*
    1/4 c. raisins or other fruit
    1/8 c. butter
    2 sq. chocolate, melted
    1/2 c. nuts, cut fine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put the sugar, milk and molasses in a saucepan.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Boil to 238\u00b0 or until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
    Stir in the butter and chocolate.
    Allow to cool.
    Beat until creamy.
    Add nuts, fruits and vanilla.
    Pour into greased tins.
    When cool, cut into squares.
