Tostada Grande - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 Tbsp. (1/2 pkg.) taco or chili seasoning mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies, drained
3 to 4 drops Tabasco sauce
1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls or 1 (7.5 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
1 c. refried beans
4 oz. Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
1 large tomato, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
Preparation

In a large skillet, brown ground beef; drain well.
Stir in seasoning, tomato sauce, chilies and Tabasco sauce; heat until hot and bubbly.
Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Lightly grease a 9 or 10-inch pie plate.
Separate rolls or biscuits; arrange in pan.
Press over bottom and up sides to form crust.
Spread beans over dough.
Top with meat mixture. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 22 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Sprinkle immediately with cheese.
Garnish with lettuce, tomato and onion.
Yields 4 to 6 servings.
