Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. sorghum
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Beat together shortening, egg yolks, sugar and sorghum.
    Sift together all dry ingredients.
    All alternately with the cup of hot water.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until done.
