Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut into 1 1/2-inch strips
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3/4 green pepper
    1/4 c. onion, cut up
    1 small can pineapple tidbits
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Add water.
    Cover and cook slowly for 1 hour. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Pour over pork; let stand 10 minutes.
    Add green pepper, pineapple and onion.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Vegetables should remain crisp.
    Serve over rice.
