Norwegian Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    6 medium apples, sliced and chopped
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add sugar; blend well.
    Add eggs; blend well. Sift dry ingredients.
    Add butter and sugar mixture (batter will be stiff).
    Add apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Drizzle with 10x sugar to make it special.
