Banana Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    2 medium ripe bananas, sliced
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and beat at low speed for 2 minutes.
    Pour into a 9 x 5-inch pan, greased on the bottom.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 65 minutes, or until springs back when lightly touched.
