Marinated Shrimp Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white wine vinegar
    1/2 c. olive oil
    6 green onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt
    2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 1/2 lb. large shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
    1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Preparation
    In a blender or food processor, process vinegar, oil, onions, parsley, garlic salt, basil and pepper until well blended.
    In a medium bowl, combine shrimp and red onion.
    Pour vinegar mixture over shrimp mixture; stir until well coated and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
    Serve chilled. Yield:
    4 cups.
