Red Hot Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. red hots
    2 c. boiling water
    1 large pkg. cherry jello
    2 cans applesauce
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve red hots in 2 cups boiling water.
    Add jello and applesauce.
    Refrigerate until set.
    Top with Cool Whip.
