Banana Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Preparation
    Place bananas and lemon juice in a blender or food processor fitted with a steel blade; process until smooth.
    Transfer bananas to large saucepan and stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
    Store in refrigerator. Yields 3 cups.
