Tomato Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    2 (1 lb.) cans stewed tomatoes with green pepper
    2 1/2 c. bread cubes, toasted
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Saute celery and onions in butter to just tender.
    Blend in flour; mix well.
    Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar and mustard. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs.
    Pour into a well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake for 30 minutes.
    Put remaining 1 cup bread cubes on top.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Bake for additional 10 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
