Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pineapple
    1 large can cherry pie filling
    2 small boxes (9 oz.) Jiffy cake mix
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Spread pineapple in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch ungreased cake pan.
    Spread cherry pie filling over top of pineapple evenly, but do not mix.
    Spread the dry cake mix over top and then sprinkle nuts over this.
    Slice the margarine real thin and place on top of nuts.
    (Be sure you have margarine in corners of pan good.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until cake begins to brown.
    Do not let the nut meats burn.
