Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. thinly sliced potatoes
    3 onions (medium), thinly sliced
    6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 c. hot milk
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Will need 5-quart casserole.
    Place a layer of potatoes and onions in casserole dish; sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper. Dot with butter.
    Repeat; top with a layer of potatoes.
    Dot with butter.
    Add enough hot milk to cover, almost the last layer of potatoes.
    Bake covered in preheated moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 45 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
    Add cheese the last 5 minutes.
