Scotch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box brown sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 sticks margarine
    2 1/4 c. flour (self-rising)
    6 oz. size chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar with eggs and melted butter.
    Add flour and vanilla
    flavoring.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add chocolate chips and pecans.
    Pour
    into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut into squares after cool.
