Butter-Choc Chippers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet butterscotch chips
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture; blend well. Add chocolate, butterscotch and nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon 2-inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Remove from sheet after cooled 5 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen.
