1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour (after sifted)
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 level tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat in 1 egg at a time, then a cup of flour and then a little milk.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately until all is used.
    Add baking soda, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
