Hazelnut Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. shelled hazelnuts, ground
    juice and grated rind of 1 medium to large lemon
    1 medium carrot, scraped and finely grated
    2 Tbsp. graham cracker crumbs
    1 oz. fine bitter chocolate
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar until thick and glossy.
    With same beater beat yolks until thick and lemon colored.
    Gradually add remaining 1/2 cup sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy.
    Combine yolk mixture with nuts, lemon juice, rind and grated carrot.
    Stir into yolk mixture a few tablespoons of egg whites and blend in the rest.
