Decorating Buttercream Icing(From Decorating Classes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. 4x sugar
    1/4 lb. (1/2 c.) soft butter or margarine
    1/4 lb. (1/2 c.) cake shortening (Crisco)
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 Tbsp. milk
    vanilla to taste
Preparation
    Blend butter and shortening. Add sugar, vanilla and 2 tablespoons milk.
    Cream to proper consistency.
    Use rest of milk, if necessary.
