Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Combine sugar and flour and add to beaten eggs. Beat well.
    Pour nuts into scalded milk; stir.
    Cook until thick. (Do not overcook.)
    Add vanilla and nutmeg when cool.
