Beef Broccoli Oriental - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef flank, partially frozen
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. oil
2 c. broccoli florets, blanched 1 minute
3 green onions, cut in 2-inch lengths
Preparation

Slice beef thinly across grain.
Add baking soda and water; let stand for several hours or overnight.
Combine soy sauce and next 5 ingredients; mix well and set aside.
Heat a heavy pan or wok.
Add oil and stir-fry meat until pink color leaves.
Remove from wok.
Add broccoli and green onions to the wok.
Toss for a few minutes, then return the meat to the wok.
Add sauce to the meat and stir until thickened.
Serve at once.
Serve with hot steamed rice or Toasted Noodle Cakes.
