Baked Stuffed Quahogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 c. quahogs, chopped and drained (reserve liquor)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    black pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    paprika
Preparation
    Saute onions.
    Add clams and a little of the reserved liquor. Cook about 5 minutes.
    Add bread crumbs.
    If too dry, add a little more of the liquor.
    Add spices and fill greased clam shells. Blend melted butter and 1/2 cup bread crumbs and sprinkle on top. Garnish with paprika and bake 15 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven or until browned.
    Makes 10 single shells.
