Grandma'S Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
    4 c. flour
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream
    the
    butter
    and
    sugar.
    Add eggs and molasses. Sift dry ingredients and blend.\tBatter is stiff.
    Chill dough 1
    hour. Roll into walnut size balls and then roll in bowl of sugar.
    Bake 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.\tMakes 4 to 5 dozen cookies.
