Simple Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained of most liquid
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion and salt.
    Shape firmly into 6 patties.
    In skillet over medium heat, cook patties until brown on both sides.
    Spoon off fat.
    Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and cook 20 minutes or until done.
    Put soup and mushrooms on top of patties occasionally.
