Moque Choux - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ears corn
    1/2 c. green pepper, diced
    1 large tomato, peeled and diced
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 large onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in oil until tender.
    Cut kernels from corn cobs and scrape with knife to get the corn \"milk.\"
    Add all remaining ingredients; cook slowly for 1 hour.
