Crumb Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples
    2/3 c. sugar
    nutmeg, cinnamon and a little salt to taste
    about 4 Tbsp. water
    small pieces butter
Preparation
    Slice some apples into a rather deep pie tin, as for an ordinary pie, but have no bottom crust.
    Let's say a 9-inch pan. Sprinkle over them sugar, to which you have added nutmeg, cinnamon and a little salt to taste.
    Add about 4 tablespoons of water and dot with small pieces of butter.
