Yellow "Scratch" Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sifted self-rising flour

Preparation

Put butter in a bowl until soft.
Add sugar and cream well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add milk, alternating with flour which has been sifted with baking powder.
Mix with electric beater or by hand.
