Mmm Good Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. margarine (2 1/2 sticks)
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. rolled oats, uncooked
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat together margarine and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Beat in egg and vanilla.
    In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and spices.
    Add to margarine mixture.
    Mix well. Stir in oats.
    Press dough onto bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden. Cool and cut into squares.
