Plain Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. lemon extract

Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs.
Add flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Add milk slowly with vanilla and lemon extract.
Put into greased and floured tube pan.
Cook 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0 or until toothpick comes out clean.
