Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 or 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Mix all together until smooth.
    Place 1 stick of butter in a bread pan.
    Put in oven to melt.
    Leave 1/2 of butter in pan and use other 1/2 over top of biscuits.
    Spoon dough into pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
    Makes approximately 9 big biscuits.
