White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. whole candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple chunks
    1 large pkg. whole dates
    4 c. whole pecans
    2 c. plain flour
    4 eggs
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar (heaping)
    3 tsp. cooking sherry or 2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Dredge fruit and nuts in small amount of flour.
    Cream the sugar and margarine.
    Alternately add flour and eggs.
    Add flavoring and dredged fruit and nuts.
    Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
