Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch (level)
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
2 to 3 drops red food coloring
1 qt. strawberries
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
whipped topping
Preparation

Stir together sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add water.
Stir until smooth.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil until it thickens.
Add vanilla, butter and food coloring. Cool by stirring.
Drain strawberries and add to sauce.
Pour into pie shell and top with whipped topping.
