Pickled Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. thin, sliced, unpeeled cucumbers
    2 large onions, thin sliced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onions and salt.
    Let stand 2 hours.
    Drain and rinse well.
    Mix vinegar and sugar with cucumbers.
    Put into containers and freeze.
    Makes about 2 1/2 quarts.
